Evil Snakes!: Prelude

Rex: "Are we really doing this?"

Joe: "Yes!"

Rex: "Okay, but I will not show the image."

Joe: "Show it."

Rex: "No, I will put a mature thing on it just in case. Any nightmares that happen because of this pic is not because of me, it is- "

Joe: "Fine, I will show the image."

A click on the computer changes the results, and the picture on the top of this page pops up, making the two hurl their lunches.

Rex: "I think that is the ugliest thing I've ever seen since your face."

Joe: "That's it, I'm gonna..."

A person walks in, joining the two.

Tina: "Hey guys, mind if I join in?"

Rex and Joe look at each other, trying not to burst in laughter.

Tina: "Thanks guys! What are you... gross."

She points at the picture.

Rex starts the show.

Rex: "Snakes, my favorite type of pet."

Joe: "Not all snakes are created equal, especially with the hate behind these two."

Tina: "Lyric, Sonic's thousand year old enemy."

Rex: "And Gobblegut, the giant snake with big bruises and a bigger appetite."

Joe: "It is our job to analyze their skills, armor, and more as we see who wins..."

Rex: "A Death Battle!!!"

Rex: "Lyric is a snake who tried to take over the world and failed  a thousand years ago. He had all the crystals but Sonic stopped him in time."

Joe: "Sonic was in the past, and as such, Lyric studied about Sonic. Until he was frozen behind a door only Sonic could unlock."

Tina: "Then Sonic unlocked it by accident, and he was released.

He has some things for him."

Mechanical Suit:

Gives him power

Gives him strength and arms

Claws let him grasp things

A remote button on the arms claws can be pushed to control robots

Rex: "He has a Mechanical Suit. I don't know how he got it, but he has it."

Joe: "This suit allows the slithering sucker to punch, grab, and use his claws to do different things. He is a genius after all."

Tina: "He has a secret button: The Robot Receiver!

Any robots within the facility will follow his orders with the press of a button."

Joe: "For this fight, no robots will assist Lyric, as it is unfair.

Without them, he has a few good things."

Feats:

Created the suit

Can lead robots seemingly better than EggMan

Tina: "He created the suit I think, and can lead robots well."

Rex: "Despite having brains and a suit, Lyric has shortcomings."

Flaws:

Relies on the suit

Suit can be broken

Has low durability without suit

Has low brawn

Joe: "Lyric relies on his suit too much, but if enough damage is done to it, it will break.

Not to mention his durability is dependent on the suit's condition."

Rex: "Hey, just goes to show this snake is scary for a reason."

Lyric: "Time for your friends to go fast, to go faster into a pit of doom."

Gobblegut Research Corner:

Species: Gut Tribe.

Fast and aggressive.

When designed, was creatively great.

Rex: "Long ago, six years back, a sequel to a great game was sold.

In the summer, Super Mario Galaxy 2 was born."

Tina: "Aw, that was great, but let a professional handle this part."

Rex: "Hey!"

Tina: "Shut it! Anyways, in July 2010, this great game was made. Expanding all of the aspects that we loved, we got the best Wii game no doubt about that.

Anyone who thinks this game has bad bosses, well are mostly wrong..."

Joe: "Meet Gobblegut, the first real boss."

Rex: "What a joke boss. He is so-"

Joe puts his hand over Rex's mouth.

Joe: "Sorry for that, anyways Gobblegut is a hungry starving snake like thing.

Probably a snake and dragon fused together.

Dunno, but he has a plan."

Tina: "Yeah, the artsy thing is hungry, and has a few good things.

Anyways, Gobblegut can chew opponents and slap them with his tail."

Joe: "He can also tackle them, and he can burrow through the ground by using his teeth like shovels, but does he swallow the dirt? I have questions."

Tina: "Like how do YOU know it is a he?"

Joe: "...Research. He however has a secret as well."

Rex: "Behold, his Flaming Fire form."

Flaming Fire form:

Sets him on fire

Can burn the ground

Leaves flames where he lands

Chewed enemies burn faster

Can blow fire

Tina: "He can turn on fire, burn enemies, leave flames on the ground where he goes, and can blow fire. It can be as hot as magma."

Joe: "This form aside, Gobblegut has accomplished some feats."

Feats:

The only boss who takes six hits instead of three

Strong

Is fast

Can scare foes and is a valuable asset to Bowser's Plan

Rex: "Unlike three hits, he can take six.

He is also strong, fast, scary, and a valuable asset."

Joe: "He does have flaws though. Like Rex trying to get a date."

Flaws:

Can be predictable

Has a huge weakness: the sores

Relies on brute strength

Rex: "This fool can become predictable over time, and he has a big weakness, the sores. Something sharp or powerful enough and Bam! It pops."

Tina: "He relies on his brute strength, because it is the only thing he has."

Joe: "But still, don't always underestimate Gobblegut, or your argument will be swallowed whole, like Rex and a vibr-"
